Awaken Wellness Fairs
The Awaken Wellness Fairs educate people about the many paths to a healthy body, mind and spirit that are available in today’s world, including ancient techniques as well as cutting-edge technologies.
Services and products offered: More than 125 exhibitors, including speakers, healers, vendors and readers, offering information about wellness to the general public. Past exhibitors have included M.D.s blending Eastern and Western medicine; aromatherapists; energy healers offering Reiki, polarity and Therapeutic Touch; vendors of unusual, often handmade and always natural and healthy products, including toiletries, lotions, nutritionals, supplements and unique jewelry (usually imbued with special intentions or made from recycled materials); and intuitive readers that connect on a psychic level. (Readings are for entertainment purposes only.)
Coming in 2019: The Awaken Fair will be held at the DoubleTree Hotel in Tarrytown, NY, on April 28 and November 24, and in New York City on July 28. There will also be an Awaken Fair in Port St. Lucie, FL, on January 27.
Philosophical approach: “As producers and organizers of the Awaken Fair, our philosophy is ‘Awaken to your best self.’ The event is a holistic smorgasbord of possibilities for the public to sample—not every offering is for everyone. But everyone can find at least one resource to help feel better, be better, do better!”

We are not satisfied until we have designed a treatment plan that addresses the factors that contribute to the developments of these chronic conditions.”
Bodywork Therapeutics / AIS Wellness

This multi-disciplinary approach looks like full-body sequential myofascial release, orthopedics, ergonomics, stretching, mindful movement therapy and balance improvement methodologies.
Areas of specialty: We teach proven, effective systems that foster optimal flexibility and help address and prevent injuries, along with tailored home-care programs that encourage self-sufficiency for challenging professional activities and active or sedentary lifestyles. We combine training, therapy and teaching with systematic, progressive home programs to promote full functionality and well-being.
Philosophical approach: “I believe that healing, physical and otherwise, requires a deep, personal search for answers beyond the obvious. It is a discovery process. My work as a therapist is that of a guide who can provide the tools to help individuals navigate this process safely and successfully. Additionally, my mission is to make that work for my clients rewarding, and ultimately revelatory and enjoyable.”
