TLC, a community of holistic and integrative health practitioners and entrepreneurs, will hold its next 914 TLC Networking Breakfast from 8:30 to 10 a.m. on May 15 at the Yard in Jefferson Valley Mall, in Yorktown Heights. The group also hosts Wellness Wednesdays there weekly from 10 a.m. to noon.
Founded in 1997 by Beth Leas, Tribe TLC has expanded to Westchester from its original location in Fairfield County, Connecticut, where the TLC Center is the largest holistic health resource center.
“TLC is a vibrant and growing community of over 100 members, committed to living consciously and offering healthy lifestyle opportunities through our businesses and passions,” Leas says. “We are a relaxed group of professionals offering a supportive community, networking events, many affordable marketing opportunities and fun.”
Members include medical doctors, chiropractors, naturopaths, massage therapists, energy healers, acupuncturists, nutritionists, occupational therapists, psychotherapists, yoga studios, financial advisors, reflexologists, life coaches, feng shui consultants, business coaches, copywriters, editors, interior designers, website designers, retail store owners and authors, all of whom recognize the benefits of holistic health and healthy living, she says.
The 914 TLC Networking Breakfast is held at the same time and place the third Wednesday of every month. “Come the first time as my guest, and if you find your time with us worthwhile, we invite you to become a TLC Member,” Leas says. “Make sure to RSVP so we can save you a seat.”
She compares Wellness Wednesdays to a weekly holistic health fair, where people can stop by to discover the benefits of a holistic health and wellness lifestyle.
