Join Natural Awakenings publisher Dana Boulanger at two terrific community events benefitting Support Connection, which brings help and hope to people fighting breast and ovarian cancer.

On Tuesday, September 18, Boulanger and the Women’s Small Business Advisory Board will hold “Raise Your Glass to Support Connection” from 5 to 8 p.m. at The Winery at St. George in Mohegan Lake. This fun evening of wine, hors d’oeuvres, music and silent auctions will benefit Support Connection. For more information visit FirstGiving.com/fundraiser/wsbab/walk2012.

On Sunday, October 7, join Boulanger at Support Connection’s 18th Annual Support-A-Walk at FDR Park in Yorktown Heights. Each year, thousands of people from across the Hudson Valley come together for this three-mile walkathon and uplifting community event. Many participants walk in celebration of, or in tribute to, those affected by breast and ovarian cancer, and all proceeds help to fund Support Connection’s free, confidential programs and services for people all across the country. Hudson Valley residents can find Support Connection groups and in-person programs right in their own neighborhood.

For Support-A-Walk details, registrations and donations visit SupportConnection.org or call 914.962.6402.
