Au Naturel Health and Beauty has opened its doors in Tarrytown to offer a carefully curated collection of all-natural, organic and GMO-free skin, body and health care products. Owner Anna Cangiano says the store reflects her belief in a preventive lifestyle.  

“Sixty percent of everything that we put on our skin, hair and nails is absorbed into the body, making the products that we use every day just as important to our health as what we eat.” she says. “When I think about formaldehyde in toothpaste, I completely understand why there is a warning label saying ‘do not ingest.’”   

Au Naturel carries an extensive array of healthy skin and body care products for men, women and children, along with make-up, whole food vitamins, wheat grass mixes, supplements, homeopathic remedies, protein mixes, raw food bars, gluten-free snacks and more. New products arrive each day, including Raw Guru Dried Fruits and Nuts, RawMio and Daustony Nut Butters and Amazing Grasses. The store is selling gift baskets for the upcoming holiday season, and guest speakers will be on hand periodically to talk about nutrition and improving overall health and well-being. Au Naturel is open seven days a week, from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.
