The Temperance Center has opened its doors in Eastchester, offering a variety of wellness services to the community. Founder Merrill Black, LCSW, is a Reiki Master and hypnotherapist with more than 25 years of clinical practice. “I hope that the center will become a place where people of all ages can come to heal their mind, body, and soul,” says Black, who has facilitated healing workshops around the country. “My mission is to provide a comforting space with diverse healing modalities offered by an array of talented, creative, and committed licensed professionals.”

Services offered at the Temperance Center include psychotherapy, Reiki, hypnosis, craniosacral therapy, massage therapy, guided meditation and yoga. The center will be expanding its services in the months ahead.
