Chef Laurie Gershgorn is set to open a new café, Good Choice Kitchen, at 147 Main Street in the heart of Ossining’s historic downtown. “The raw space will need a full build-out,” she says. “With a planned opening of summer 2016, I’ve also started a crowdfunding campaign on the Barnraiser platform so contributors can support this new endeavor to bring clean, healthy food to the community.” She says Good Choice Kitchen will offer farm-fresh food in a beautiful location, grab ’n’ go options, healthy cooking classes and customized healthy meal plans.

“I’m also on the lookout for passionate cooks and retail experienced job seekers who believe in the mission of healthy food being readily available to the Ossining and surrounding communities,” she says.
