Kudos to Lorraine Hughes
Lorraine Hughes, a registered herbalist through the American
Herbalist Guild and sole proprietor of Empowered By Nature, has completed
advanced clinical training in chronic Lyme (GU Syndrome) and complex
chronic illness. This intensive two-year practitioner training from the Uprooting
Lyme program now allows Hughes to implement her expanded experience and
knowledge within her Wappingers Falls’ practice.
She says, “Many people come to their present
state of disease due to many years of exposure to a variety of pathogens that
they are unable to recover from. This course was helpful in determining what
roadblocks, whether many or few, need to be addressed in order for an
individual to become more resilient and healthy.” Hughes’ mentor and teacher
was Hilary Thing, LAC, the founder of Uprooting Lyme.
