Paw Pals Expands Services to Westchester and Bergen

Dog walking and pet sitting service for Rockland, Orange, Westchester and Bergen

Brittanie Rubino with clients

Brittanie Rubino always dreaded having to leave her pets, and so she launched her dog walking/pet sitting company, Paw Pals, for other pet owners like her. Turns out there are a lot of them: demand for Paw Pals’ services has grown so rapidly that Rubino is expanding her Rockland-based business to include Westchester, Orange and Bergen Counties as well.

“Many people have an incredible connection with their dogs and cats,” Rubino says. “When they’re out of town, stuck at work or just want a night out with their friends, they want to make sure their pals are with someone who will love them just as much as they do. That’s why I started Paw Pals, to give people peace of mind while they’re away from Fido and Fluffy.”

The mission of Paw Pals is simple, she says: “to love and care for each and every animal just like we would want someone to take care of ours.” Paw Pals offers a variety of services, she says, from a midday walk to an overnight stay to a simple ride to the vet. All Paw Pals employees are trained in CPR and first aid, and the company is bonded and insured for clients’ protection and peace of mind. Its personalized care includes daily updates and video chat options. Paw Pals also donates 5 percent of its profits each month to local animal shelters.
