Dwyer & Michael’s Funeral Home offers green burials with graveside services in a natural burial ground with simple wicker caskets, and cremations with the cremains being placed into a biodegradable urn.

The Carpinone family brings over 100 years of experience to the funeral service industry. Our Funeral Home carries on the tradition of Dwyer & Vanderbilt Funeral Home along with the Carpinone family values added in. With my father having vast years of experience now being passed down to myself as I manage the Funeral Home, We truly are family owned and operated. Our family and staff are very involved with local church events and volunteering, Members of The New York State Funeral Directors Association, The Tarrytown Rotary club, The Tarrytown Sleepy Hollow Chamber of Commerce, The American Italian Club of Elmsford, and the Portuguese American Cultural Center Of The Tarrytowns. We are strong supporters of the Police and Fire Departments as well as the Military. All nationalities, ethnicities and religions are welcome to our funeral home and we the Carpinone family are here to make the transitions through the grief process as easy on the families we serve as possible with compassion and a warm heart. Our family roots from New Rochelle and Yonkers now settled in Tarrytown. The Carpinone brothers graduated almost 40 years ago from the American Academy McAllister Institute in New York City and I Graduated top of the class from the Nassau Community College Mortuary Science Program in Garden City. I am very fortunate to receive the skill set that I have from my family and also bring in new innovative ideas that we are able to offer to those we serve.
