Support Connection's Support-A-Walk on Sunday, October 5, 2014: Making a Difference for Those with Breast and Ovarian Cancer

Bring help and hope to people fighting breast and ovarian cancer by participating in the 20th Anniversary Support-A-Walk on Sunday, October 5, 2014, at FDR Park in Yorktown Heights, NY. The three-mile walkathon, presented by Support Connection, Inc., is designed to bring attention to the needs of people living with breast and ovarian cancer.

Each year, thousands of people from across the Hudson Valley come together for this uplifting community event. Many participants walk to celebrate or honor those affected by breast and ovarian cancer. Proceeds help fund Support Connection’s free, confidential programs and services for people affected by breast and ovarian cancer. The organization has a toll-free number to provide information and resources to people all over the country, including the Hudson Valley.

Those who wish to help can form a Walk Team, collect donations and walk on their own, raise funds online from family, friends and coworkers, and help spread the word. Everyone is welcome at Support-A-Walk, a wonderful event, filled with community spirit, that makes a difference in the lives of many people.
