Omega Institute, home of the Omega Center for Sustainable Living, will hold its environmental conference, Being Fearless: Action in a Time of Disruption, October 13 through 15 in Rhinebeck. The weekend conference will also be available via live stream and on-demand for a modest donation to Omega.

Amy Goodman, Van Jones, Cornel West, Bill Moyers, Jon Kabat-Zinn and other thought leaders and environmental advocates will guide a timely conversation about what it takes to be bold and advance the issues that matter most, effectively and for the long haul, says Robert “Skip” Backus, chief executive officer at Omega.

“This conference creates the opportunity to explore what has become the new normal—a country divided—and where we go from here,” Backus says. “Through the expertise of frontline change makers, we will examine what’s required to open the door to a more inclusive culture and protect the planet we share.
