Omega Institute Environmental Conference Will Live-Stream: October 13 through 15

Being Fearless thought leaders and environmental advocates

Omega Institute, home of the Omega Center for Sustainable Living, will hold its environmental conference, Being Fearless: Action in a Time of Disruption, October 13 through 15 in Rhinebeck. The weekend conference will also be available via live stream and on-demand for a modest donation to Omega.

Amy Goodman, Van Jones, Cornel West, Bill Moyers, Jon Kabat-Zinn and other thought leaders and environmental advocates will guide a timely conversation about what it takes to be bold and advance the issues that matter most, effectively and for the long haul, says Robert “Skip” Backus, chief executive officer at Omega.

“This conference creates the opportunity to explore what has become the new normal—a country divided—and where we go from here,” Backus says. “Through the expertise of frontline change makers, we will examine what’s required to open the door to a more inclusive culture and protect the planet we share. We are thrilled to be able to offer this year’s conference to a global audience via live stream for a donation of only $5. All donations help Omega continue to create more important conversations like this one.”

Those who participate online can watch the event live and also access the event on demand for 90 days following the conference, plus watch a post-conference on-demand event with Matthieu Ricard in New York City.
