How would you describe your studio or practice (what’s the vibe)? Our studio, located at The Hat Factory, in Peekskill, is a welcoming, light-filled space. As a community of unique individuals, we choose to celebrate life, cultivate peace and compassion and to uplift others through our thoughts, words and actions. As a teaching collective, our mission is to create a nurturing environment to explore the practice yoga where everyone is welcome. PranaMoon Yoga's space is dedicated to encourage self-expression, spiritual awakening, emotional growth and physical unfolding.

What types of yoga classes do you offer and what is their capacity? We offer Vinyasa, gentle yoga, yin, restorative and acro. For early risers, we have Morning Yoga Series and Yoga Bootcamp, a dynamic blend of high-intensity interval training and yoga. Our space comfortably holds 15 to 20 yogis and parking is easy.

What is new and exciting coming up at the studio? Beyond our ongoing weekly schedule, we have an array of monthly classes and workshops, including Somatic Release Breathwork, Sound Journeys, Restorative Acupuncture and more! Two new classes are happening in September: Embodied Emotional Awareness with Alexa Wolkoff and Yoga for Men Series with Robin Palmer.

Do you offer online/virtual classes? We offer a Zoom option for many of our classes. Zoom continues to be a viable way for our yoga community to practice with us despite the distance, the weather or other unforeseen obstacles to joining us in studio.

How has the practice changed your life, personally? The profound power of the breath has guided me through my most vulnerable phases and moments in my life. From the intensity and joy of childbirth to navigating through grief overload, my practice and ancient tools of yoga have always been there for me.
