Heather is a New York based licensed acupuncturist and National Board-Certified Diplomat of Acupuncture (NCCAOM). She studied acupuncture and herbal medicine at Emperor’s College of Traditional Oriental Medicine.

Heather is also a Reiki practitioner, 500 hour certified yoga instructor, and IIN Health Coach. She believes that integrating health and wellness practices into all aspects of life – spirituality, career, social life, relationships, home environment, home cooking, creativity, finances, health, education and physical activity – is key to leading a healthy and happy lifestyle.

After earning her Masters in Childhood Education and Special Education at Hunter College, she taught in both public and private schools in New York City as well as worked for the New York City Department of Education in the Office of School Wellness Programs, where she trained teachers how to do more physical activity with students in their classrooms by blending movement with academics. She also spent time working in advertising sales at A+E Networks.
