NAN Family Meditation & Movement Event in Ossining: Sunday, March 18, 2012, Kids Invited!

The next meditation gathering of the Natural Awakenings Network takes place on Sunday, March 18, at Josie’s International School of Dance in Ossining. The Family Meditation & Movement will begin at 11 a.m. with yoga and movement, followed by guided breathwork and relaxation.  Individuals and families with kids age five and up are welcome at this event, hosted by Josie’s and led by Deborah Murray. Participants are asked to bring a yoga mat if they can.

Murray, who also teaches children’s pre-ballet at Josie’s, will present a sample pre-ballet class after the family meditation. Later, parents and teens can stay to sample dance, fitness and acting classes until 6 p.m.  Visit JosieDance.com for a complete class timetable.   

Murray is a licensed massage therapist with a background in ballet who trained in the tradition of the Integral Yoga and Divine Life Society. She has been practicing yoga for three decades and teaching children’s pre-ballet for more than 35 years.
