The group gathers around therapy horse Vince, to express their appreciation.
Equine Energetix is a personal growth company in New York that blends the simplicity of Zen Buddhism with psychological principles and Equine-Interactive Learning and Psychotherapy (EILP). The method taps the power of a centuries-old bond, the horse-human connection. Drawing on the horse’s finely tuned ability to mirror people, Equine Energetix uses EILP in individual and small group settings to bring thoughts and feelings into sharp focus. Experiential learning-based activities further encourage insight and change.
This Fall, Equine Energetix presents its transformational workshop series with Mindfulness in Everyday Life, on September 15, and Finding Your Path: A Life Coaching Experiential Workshop, on October 6. “Mindfulness practices can help to alleviate physical pain, anxiety or depression, reduce stress and strengthen the immune system,” says James Cassese of Equine Energetix. “With the help of our herd of horses, the Mindfulness in Everyday Life workshop offers the chance to learn about and cultivate that practice.”
Cassese says that the Finding Your Path workshop is designed to help participants create clear and realistic goals for the future. “Life coaching has become an increasingly popular approach to everything from personal self-development to career change to leadership development,” he notes. “EILP activities enhance the coaching experience in a fun and supportive setting.”
