Cat’s Moonshine is a new shop on Route 6 in Mahopac that features unique gifts, trendy jewelry, clothing, crystals, candles and Tarot readings by appointment. Owner Catherine MacDonald, a long time Mahopac resident, says her store is a friendly place where the New Age meets the old world.     

“We have something for everyone at reasonable prices,” says MacDonald. “New and used books are available for purchase as well as incense, goblets, mirrors and variety of small collectables. We also have a resident certified sociotherapist on the premises, and we hope to offer New Age seminars and Tarot 101 in the future.”       

MacDonald invites people to visit Cat’s Moonshine on the web at Facebook.com/CatsMoonshine for pictures of the shop and updates. Their hours are Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. On Fridays the shop is open until 7 p.m. and Sunday hours are by appointment only.
