Le Petite Spa Offers Deep Blue Sea Facials for Summer
Le Petite Spa, an organic, vegan day spa in Croton-on-Hudson, New York, is offering Deep Blue Sea facials for the summer months. This seasonal treatment soothes and nourishes skin with more than 100 nutrients and features certified organic and certificate vegan Yum Gourmet skincare products.
“The facial begins with a Pacific Sea Cleanse, an intensive, algae-based treatment that deep cleans and revitalizes the skin, smoothing its texture and appearance,” says Mary Prenon, owner of Le Petite Spa. “Next, a gentle exfoliant removes dead skin cells, then smooth, cold beach stones massage the face, neck and décolleté.”
Prenon says that cold stone massages can provide a deep state of relaxation and release tensions while reducing swelling and inflammation. “It also increases blood circulation and can help to decrease high blood pressure,” she adds. Following the cold stone massage, an organic Seaweed Masque is applied to the skin to restore moisture, detoxify, firm and slow aging.
“Seaweed is also known for its purifying and re-mineralizing qualities, and contains a wealth of antioxidants and beta-carotene,” says Prenon. A soothing organic marine algae moisturizer completes the Deep Blue Sea Facial, which is available for $85.
