Omega Institute is Hiring for the 2014 Season: Info and Link to Application
Omega Institute for Holistic Studies is gearing up for their annual hiring of seasonal staff. The bulk of the recruitment is done in January and February and hundreds of people are needed for the 2014 season, which runs from April to October. Seasonal staff members can join for a period of four weeks to seven months.
During a season at Omega, these staff members contribute to the organization’s mission of awakening the best in the human spirit. From 18-year-olds to retirees, staff members come from all walks of life. Visitors may meet teachers on summer break working in the garden, lawyers serving in the Dining Hall, and college students eager to gain team-building skills by welcoming participants and helping them with luggage. Many staff members in mid-life find that a season at Omega is an ideal experience during a life transition or career change. It’s also a great opportunity for active retirees and others to explore community living.
Seasonal staff live and work in a vibrant learning community on Omega’s 200-acre campus, enjoy delicious meals in a mostly vegetarian dining hall, and have access to more than 3,000 staff classes in everything from yoga, to the arts, to professional development. Each year, Omega welcomes more than 23,000 people to workshops, conferences and retreats in Rhinebeck, New York, online, and at exceptional locations around the world. The seasonal staff members are instrumental in producing a fantastic guest experience.
