Experience tranquility and inspiration on Wainwright House’s five acres of lawns and gardens, overlooking Milton Harbor on Long Island Sound. Facilities include three buildings with meeting and dining rooms, a meditation room, a library and a solarium. There’s also a yoga center and lodging for 34 individuals for programs and retreats.
Wellness services offered at Wainwright House include: yoga, movement and meditation, spiritual exploration and creativity and programs for children, teens and young adults. Other programs focus on health and well-being, self-esteem or environmental awareness.
Wainwright House specializes in QiGong, Tai Chi and Nia in addition to various yoga styles, and offers classes and events on sound healing, breathing techniques, the science of nutrition, Reiki certification, animal Reiki, women’s health and spirituality, Tarot, hypnosis, dream journaling and painting from the inside out. There’s also an Art of Energetic Healing school (certification course), Joyful Baby Massage, Fairy Tale Marionettes courses, new moon gatherings, shamanic dream circles, weekend retreats for women, performing arts and monthly spiritual and environmental film series.
