Feng Shui practitioners believe that love is a state of flow that can transform, heal, create and inspire. Spaces resonate with the energies of the people who live in them. As you look around your home, notice: Does love move with ease through your space? Are there areas that frustrate you? Is clutter slowing you down or holding you back?

The bedroom is a good indicator of how you’re feeling about your love life and yourself. It should be a haven, a restorative place that brings your body and spirit into balance. We’re unconscious in the bedroom much of the time while sleeping, so it’s even more important that it support us and bring us peace. Unfinished projects, too much reading and information, or over-stimulation in the form of electronics or gadgets are not ideal for such a private space. Be sure your bed position has a view of the door for comfort and security, and include luxurious touches that feed your sensual self, such as plush linens, works of art and a thick, beautiful rug. These nourishing things help you to dream as well as feel grounded.

Feng shui works with your space to intuitively connect you with where you are and where you want to go. It’s a resource for design and organization, but most importantly, it works from within to create holistic environments that truly support you and your relationships.
