On September 17, 2014, a portion of all fees paid for massages and facials at Massage Envy Spas in Westchester will benefit the Arthritis Foundation. The fourth annual Healing Hands for Arthritis event, a joint venture between Massage Envy and the Arthritis Foundation, is designed to raise awareness and funds to fight arthritis.   

Throughout the daylong national event, Massage Envy will donate $10 from every one hour massage or facial to the cause. More than $2 million have been raised since 2011 to prevent, control and cure arthritis. “There’s no better way to give back than to treat yourself, a friend or a family member to a relaxing and rejuvenating massage or facial,” said Nataliya Kisseleva, owner of the Scarsdale Massage Envy Spa. “We strongly encourage the Westchester community to come out on September 17 to help fight arthritis, a disease that affects 50 million Americans and is a leading cause of disability.”   

To make an appointment for the Healing Hands for Arthritis event, contact one of the four Massage Envy Spa locations in Westchester (see page 39 and back cover for the ad). Reservations are now being accepted on a first come, first served basis. Murad®, Massage Envy’s exclusive skin care partner, will also be donating 10 percent of all product sales made at the spas that day, as will Wyndmere and BioFreeze.
