Armonk Outdoor Art Show Benefits North Castle Public Library: September 20 and 21, 2014

The 53rd Annual Armonk Outdoor Art Show to Benefit North Castle Public Library takes place on Saturday and Sunday, September 20 and 21, 2014, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., rain or shine. Consistently ranked among the New York metro area’s top fine art and design shows by Sunshine Artist magazine, the event showcases a diverse array of art.

More than 185 juried artists will be featured, 55 of whom are new to this year’s show, displaying their creations in a broad spectrum of media, including painting, sculpture, photography, wearable art and fine crafts. This year’s show also features free guided tours, emerging artists, and kid-friendly activities. Personal shoppers will be available to help visitors find and select art that best suits their taste and décor, and a diverse food court will offer refreshments.

On Friday, September 19, the North Castle Public Library will show a free, art-themed film at 7 p.m. The next evening, jazz legend Charlie Lagond will bring exciting interpretations of contemporary and jazz favorites at 8 p.m. The art show kicks off the weekend before with a 5K “Run for Love” on Sunday, September 14 to benefit kids’ programs at the library.
