Yoga Teacher Training at Quest Yoga Arts: Beginning October 24-26, 2014.

Wendy Hagen & Laura Jensen, co-directors of Quest Yoga Teacher Training program in "Partner Yoga"

Beginning October 24-26, 2014, Quest Yoga Arts in Mount Kisco, NY, will offer a 200-hour Yoga Alliance-certified training for aspiring teachers and for students who wish to deepen their practice. The training will be held one weekend a month for ten months, with each session comprising Friday-evening classes followed by Saturday and Sunday classes from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

The program will include Yoga Asana, Meditation, Pranayama, Yoga History, Yoga Philosophy, Anatomy, Physiology, Teaching Methods, Class Sequencing & Lesson Plans, Hands-On Assists and Practice Teaching, plus many “special surprises,” says Laura Jensen, owner of Quest Yoga Arts. Jensen (licensed massage therapist and E-RYT 200) will lead the program along with Wendy Hagen (E-RYT 500). They have more than 30 years’ combined yoga experience.

“Our training will inspire you and train you to teach safe and transformative yoga classes, as well as incorporate the wisdom and practice of yoga into your life,” Jensen says. “Quest offers an intimate training program with a small group of dedicated students. This allows for plenty of individualized instruction from our instructors and guest lecturers. What makes this program unique is that you are teaching—each other at first—from the very first weekend, so by the time you graduate, you’re ready to create a sound class and teach it. Even if you’re simply looking to deepen your personal practice, this will be a transformative experience.”

Quest Yoga Arts is located at 11-13 E. Main St., second floor, Mt. Kisco, NY. To register, visit QuestYogaArts.com or call 914.241.9642.
