David Wilder, owner of Wilder Yoga and Fitness in Somers, NY, brings a unique blend of yoga and fitness training to deliver a personalized approach to each student. Among the services offered are individual or group yoga classes, weight training, Pilates, strength training, nutritional counseling and weight-loss management.
“I use both disciplines to ensure a safe and supportive environment that inspires confidence and encourages students to reach beyond what they thought was possible,” says Wilder. “I want to help my clients improve their lives and reach their maximum fitness potential.”
Wilder has more than 20 years’ teaching experience and offers both individual and group personal training, modifying all exercises to accommodate each individual’s fitness level. Beginner Vinyasa yoga classes are offered Monday through Thursday, with Intermediate/Advanced yoga classes on Tuesday and Thursday that incorporate getting around obstacles, both physically and mentally. Those looking to cross train can join one-hour Practical Fitness classes on weekday mornings. The sessions consist of weight-lifting techniques, calisthenics, and cardiovascular activity.
The drop-in cost is $20, or less with the purchase of a class card. Krav Maga also offers monthly membership for all Wilder Yoga and Fitness classes and Krav Maga self-defense and fitness instruction.
