Clay Health Club + Spa Brings Manhattan Sensibility to Westchester
Clay Health Club + Spa
New York City’s Clay Health Club + Spa has opened its second location at the junction of Port Chester, NY, and Greenwich, CT. The original location opened in 2002 in Union Square as the fitness industry's first integrated wellness facility, allowing members to participate in everything from personal training and private Pilates to nutritional guidance and recuperative spa therapies, all under one roof.
The 25,000-square-foot location at 11 Riverdale Avenue in Port Chester features a double-sided glass fireplace, abundant natural light, a wall of windows overlooking the Byram River, a roof deck and member lounge, a full-service natural café, concierge service, amenities from Malin + Goetz, indoor valet parking, and a state-of-the-art health club. Additionally, the club features a full-service spa and five dedicated training studios including group fitness, spin, yoga and reformer Pilates.
Clay houses a state-of-the-art golf studio and a performance lab designed to assess an individual’s needs from the outside in. The lab offers a variety of biomedical testing options, from micronutrient, hormone and environmental allergen panels to tests focused on DNA’s telomeres. Neuromuscular, technological and biomedical testing is used to create individualized fitness and nutrition programs. Once a nutrition program is developed, the chefs of Clay Cafe by Mason Privé can prepare meals specific to a client’s needs.
The new Clay Health Club + Spa is located off Route 1, minutes from Rye and Purchase, NY. Membership is $180 per month in addition to a $500 enrollment fee. For more info, call 914.937.5000.
