Everyone is invited to enjoy holiday magic at Wainwright House during a Dickens’ of a Weekend, Dec 5 through 7, 2014, in Rye, NY. The weekend begins with Children’s Night on Friday and continues Saturday and Sunday with a Holiday Marketplace spanning two rooms, English country dancing, hand-bell ringers, caroling, live music, crafts for children, paper-cutting silhouette arts by appointment and much more.

“Charles Dickens once said that there is nothing in the world so irresistibly contagious as laughter and good humor,” says Executive Director Peggy Hill. “At Wainwright House, we would add ‘good fun’ to that list. Our weekend will put any Scrooge in the holiday spirit.”
