Spiritist Event in Stamford, CT: May 2, 2015, at the Marriott Hotel and Spa

Allan Kardec, French educator, codifier of Spiritism

The United States Spiritist Council will host the ninth US Spiritist Symposium on May 2, 2015, from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. at the Marriott Hotel and Spa in Stamford, CT. The event will feature national and international speakers, presentations and workshops on a variety of topics, including “art through mediumship,” “spirit communications and manifestations,” and “instructions from the beyond.”

According to the council, this symposium is intended as a resource for those who wish to take their lives to a new level of self-awareness and purpose. Participants will gain insight into scientific research and spirituality and will have the opportunity to learn about profound self-inquiry techniques. Event organizers say one of its highlights will be a session that explores art and spirituality; subjects such as “mysterious drawings through mediums,” “poetry by spirits,” and Mozart’s new piano sonata will be discussed through the light of science and spiritism.

Kids aged 6 to 15 are welcome to participate in a day of special activities facilitated by spiritist educators.

The Marriott Hotel and Spa is located at 243 Tresser Blvd., Stamford, CT. For info and registration, visit SpiritualityNow.net.
