“Comedy for a Cause” Boosts Local Nonprofits: September 17 at Stone Manor 101, Hartsdale, NY

Jane Condon

Last Comic Standing’s audience favorite Jane Condon will bring “Comedy for a Cause” to Stone Manor 101 in Hartsdale, NY, on September 17 from 6:30 to 9 p.m. The annual fundraiser for two local nonprofits, the Giordano Foundation for Women’s Health and Education and Support Connection, will feature an evening of laughter and surprises as well as raffles and a silent auction.

An award-winning comedian, Condon was named one of “10 Comedy Best Bets” in Back Stage’s 2001 comedy issue. She has appeared on ABC’s “The View,” Lifetime’s “Girls’ Night Out,” and the series finale of Fox’s “24.” The $50 ticket includes dinner, soft drinks, coffee and the show. A cash bar will be available. Doors open at 6 p.m.

Proceeds from the evening will be used to support the Giordano Foundation’s Annual Day of Healing as well as wellness programs offered by both nonprofits. The mission of the Giordano Foundation is to support the empowerment of women through opportunities designed to promote personal growth and enhance all aspects of well-being—physical, mental, spiritual and social. Support Connection Inc. provides emotional, social and educational support to women (and their families and friends) affected by breast and ovarian cancer. All its support services are free and confidential.
