Reiki Practitioners Gather for Free Healing Event: Vision of Hope Healing Circle in Mount Kisco, NY

Practitioners giving Reiki to those in need at the first Vision of Hope Healing Circle

On October 28, 2015, Westchester Reiki master Anne Bentzen will sponsor the second Vision of Hope Healing Circle in Mount Kisco, NY, for those struggling with cancer or other life-threatening illnesses. Services will also be available for family members and other caregivers. As a Reiki master teacher, Bentzen has gathered practitioners from the New York-Connecticut area to serve the public for free on a first-come, first-serve basis from 7 to 9 p.m. A meditation space will be available during the event for people to enjoy the energy and music.

Bentzen says more than 1.5 million Americans have experienced the energy-healing properties of Reiki, a Japanese healing art recognized as a biofield therapy in the field of complementary and alternative medicine. Many leading cancer centers and medical hospitals, including Northern Westchester Hospital, now offer Reiki as a service.

“Cancer patients find relief in the deep relaxation response, which reduces pain and other side effects of the disease and treatment protocol, including anxiety, fatigue, nausea and insomnia,” Bentzen says. “Reiki is safe, has no known side effects and provides healing simultaneously on all levels—emotional, mental, spiritual and physical. The Vision of Hope Healing Circle is an excellent opportunity for patients and their families to discover the healing benefits of Reiki.”

The Vision of Hope Healing Circle will be held at the Unitarian Universalist Fellowship, 236 South Bedford Rd., Rt. 172, Mt. Kisco. For more info, visit Balancing4Life.com. Practitioners wishing to participate should contact Anne Bentzen at 914.588.4079.
