Online Peace Prayer Marathon on December 22, 2015: Infuse the earth with prayers for peace
Peace Pole at the World Peace Sanctuary in Wassaic, NY
The World Peace Prayer Society is hosting a 24-hour Internet prayer marathon on December 22. This date, marking the beginning of winter in the northern hemisphere and summer in the southern hemisphere, is considered a time of rebirth across the globe. All people are invited to pray any time within the 24 hours of this day, with a mission to “infuse the earth with prayers for peace.”
Global Link Connections—visual and audio world peace prayer ceremonies—are created by the World Peace Prayer Society to bring the global community together in simultaneous prayers for peace no matter where participants live. The online ceremony, accessible in English (http://infinitelove.d-j.jp/peaceceremony/) and Japanese (http://infinitelove.d-j.jp/peaceceremonyjp/), includes peaceful intentions for every country on earth.
