Shamanic Healing Training Starts September 10: Nature is the Greatest Healer

Eileen O’Hare

Spiritual healer and teacher Eileen O’Hare will begin a new Mesayok Medicine Spiral, a shamanic healing training inspired by Andean mystical tradition, beginning September 10 and continuing the second Saturday of each month for 12 months at the Healing House in Beacon. She’s been offering Spiral circles since 2004.

“Nature is the greatest healer,” she says. “Spiral teaches us how to become aware of thoughts, feelings and actions that hold us hostage to self-defeating patterns. We create powerful relationships with the world of living energies around and within us that empower our healing. Change is tough; we cannot make lasting change alone. We need a loving teacher, powerful teachings and a community to hold us while we become who we truly are. If you’ve done the Munay-Ki rites and are looking for more from this powerful lineage, Spiral can help you expand deepen your experience.”

Circles include journeying, ritual, ceremony, deep personal work, chanting, drumming, dancing, trips to local sacred sites, excursions to local river and mountain spirits and “lots of love, support and laughter,” she says. “Participants learn to work with the five elements, the four directions and the three worlds. The circle is a safe and sacred spiritual community; an email group keeps members connected from circle to circle.”

O’Hare also offers retreats and private healing sessions. For more info, call 845.831.5790, email [email protected] or visit EileenOHare.com.
