SoulCollage Engages Right Brain for Healing: Creative, Powerful and Fun

A SoulCollage by Nina Chaifetz

Nina Chaifetz, a licensed clinical social worker and holistic health coach practicing in White Plains and NYC, recently completed SoulCollage facilitator training and is now using the transformational process in her practice with individuals and groups.

“SoulCollage is a creative art process that is both powerful and fun—and no art experience is necessary,” she says. “By working with images, SoulCollage engages the right brain, which is more creative and accesses intuition as a means to deeper understanding and healing. When people create SoulCollage cards, they draw upon their own imagination, life experiences and intuition while giving visual form to aspects of their personality, relations and emotional patterns, as well as the spiritual influences in their life.”

Chaifetz says she uses the SoulCollage process to support her clients in several ways. “It gives them another way besides talking to authentically express different parts of themselves,” she explains. “It also helps them identify and understand their own needs, wants, passions, strengths and wisdom while helping them overcome grief, find forgiveness and move toward acceptance and integration.”
