Yoni Celebrates 15 Years Practicing Structural Integration: A method that addresses how the structure of the human body relates to gravity

Yoni Hormadaly

Yoni Hormadaly, a licensed massage therapist in Ridgefield, Connecticut, is celebrating 15 years of practicing Structural Integration. Developed by Dr. Ida P. Rolf, a biochemist, Structural Integration is a method that addresses how the structure of the human body relates to gravity.

“By working with the soft tissues of the body in a methodical and systematic way, over a number of sessions—usually 10—the whole structure gets addressed in a wholesome and lasting way,” Hormadaly says. The changes that are acquired with Structural Integration tend to be long lasting and improve over time, he adds. Once the old pattern begins to change toward a more energy-efficient one, every step a person takes further reinforces the new pattern.

“Structural Integration is not about fixing problems and relieving symptoms, although that often happens as a side effect,” he says. “It is about stepping into a new paradigm with your whole body.”
