Yoga Teachers Association to Host Revered Yogini Tao Porchon-Lynch: 1:30 to 4:30 p.m., April 8, at Club Fit in Briarcliff Manor, NY.

The Yoga Teachers Association of Hudson Valley will be presenting a workshop with 98-year-old yoga master Tao Porchon- Lynch from 1:30 to 4:30 p.m., April 8, at Club Fit in Briarcliff Manor, NY.

Porchon-Lynch will discuss how we can tune into the power of the eternal and discover that nothing is impossible. She will also talk about the four pillars of yoga in this session — pranayama, mudras, bandhas and chakras. Susan Douglass, a long-time student of Tao’s will also share her Aspirational Yoga Dances that will be choreographed to music by John Guth.

Aspirational Yoga is a fusion of yoga and dance that delights body and spirit. Students will experience both the joy of dance and the bliss of yoga. Copies of Tao’s autobiography, Dancing Light, will be available for purchase and signing. It is recommended that all attendees bring their own yoga mats.
