Coaching through This “Season of Renewal”: Areas of expertise include parenting, personal and academic coaching
Dr. Samantha Berkule Johnson
Dr. Samantha Berkule Johnson, founder and owner of SBJ Life Coaching, often tells her clients that fall is a season of renewal—the perfect time to begin a process of change or start something new. Recently she took her own advice by relocating her practice from New York City to Mount Kisco.
The transition was relatively simple; most of her coaching sessions are conducted via telephone, Skype or FaceTime, although she offers in-person sessions as well. Her areas of expertise include parenting, personal and academic coaching.
“Whether my clients need help transitioning to new parenthood, initiating a career change or finally completing that dissertation, I work with them to achieve their long- and short-term goals through conversations, questions and tools that will hopefully help them find the answers, directions, plans and motivation to move attitudes into actions,” she says.
Johnson has a PhD in developmental psychology from Yeshiva University, a BS in human development from Cornell University, and a Board Certified Coach credential from the Institute for Life Coach Training. She has more than a decade’s experience in parenting coaching and conducting research with parents, children, families and students. She has also taught and worked with students at the college and university level for more than 15 years.
In October and November, Johnson is offering buy-one-get-one-free single coaching sessions as well as 20 percent off all coaching packages. For more info, visit SBJLifeCoach.com or contact Johnson at [email protected] or 917.364.8050.
