The spa is located in an airy, second-floor space flooded with natural light. “We have 12 windows that we always have cracked to infuse the air with oxygen,” he says. “I have been in the salon and spa business for 30 years, and I’m always trying to create a natural, organic atmosphere, not only for my clients, but also for my staff that work here every day.”

Anthony, who trained and worked in New York City before moving to Pound Ridge , has been ahead of the curve in an industry that is distancing itself from its toxic past. “It’s such a different vibe than it was years ago, when you would walk into a salon and just smell chemicals,” he says. “Well, that’s not the case anymore—not here, anyway. And now it’s not hard to find organic products that work well.”
