Hilltop Hanover Farm in Yorktown Heights will host its fifth annual Farm Fest on June 2, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. The $10-per-family donation will support one of the few farms remaining in Westchester County operated by a nonprofit volunteer group.

The event will feature an array of children’s games, face painting and activities, as well as local artisans and food vendors selling their wares. Visitors can spin the WHUD radio prize wheel; take a hayride and tour the property; meet Hilltop Hanover Farm’s farmers, as well as their cows, goats and chickens; learn about antique tractors from members of the Yorktown Tractor Club; have a picnic on the 187-acre property; hike one of the farm’s three trails; and watch demonstrations devoted to healthy living, raising bees and cooking organically. They can also visit the farm stand for its official opening, and purchase organically grown vegetables and farm-fresh eggs.
