Pamela Landolt, the Poughkeepsie-based author of Discovering Angels: How to Invite Angels into Your Life for Peace, Tranquility and Personal Change, will hold a workshop based on her book from 1 to 4 p.m. on January 19, in Dutchess County.

“The angels are always trying to get our attention, but often people don’t recognize their signs,” Landolt says. “In this class, participants will learn to recognize signs the angels are near, and by working through various exercises found in my book, they will begin developing methods for receiving angelic guidance.”

How we receive our angelic messages is personal and individualized, according to Landolt, so each workshop participant will learn various methods and discover the best way to receive messages. “They will also develop a stronger sense of the angelic presence through guided meditations,” she says.

Discovering Angels is a requirement for the workshop. Autographed copies will be available for purchase the day of class ($13.99 plus tax), or participants can bring previously purchased copies.

Landolt, who has a master’s degree in metaphysical sciences, is a Reiki Level II practitioner, a registered polarity practitioner, an angel card reader and a certified bio-energy transmitter. Currently she holds private angel card readings and angel energy healings.
