Dog Walk and Pet Fair Benefits SPCA : 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on May 4, at FDR State Park, in Yorktown Heights

The SPCA of Westchester will host its annual Dog Walk and Pet Fair from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on May 4, at FDR State Park, in Yorktown Heights. This family-friendly event features a scenic 2.5-mile path for people and their canine buddies, a vendor village, refreshments, kids’ games, face painting, the SPCA photo booth and dog agility demos.

Participants can sign up online to walk, or they can register on site. Although cats can’t attend, their owners are encouraged to walk on their behalf, as the funds raised from this event supports all the SPCA’s animals.

“Thousands of animal lovers and their furry friends joined us last year, along with more than 75 sponsors and vendors, so don’t miss out,” says Lisa Bonanno-Spence, director of events and communications for the SPCA.

Location: FDR State Park, 2957 Crompond Rd., Yorktown Heights, NY. For more info, call 914.941.2896 ext. 54, email [email protected] or visit spca914.org.
