Michael Gulbrandsen and Gina Burton are launching a new healing practice in Poughkeepsie that incorporates massage, divination, energy medicine and nature-based healing. It’s a Really Good Thing Healing Arts Center is set to open October 1.

A master shamanic Reiki practitioner, Gullbrandsen offers Healing with Nature’s Songs Sessions, using sounds heard in nature.

“I may use drums, water, rattles, gongs, wind and singing bowls, combined with feather healing and Reiki, in a Healing with Nature’s Songs session,” he says. “Sometimes a session may be inside, and sometimes it’s in the woods, walking on a trail.”

A licensed massage therapist, Burton offers massage, Reiki and tarot card reading.
