The Awaken Wellness Fair, the long-running “body-mind-spirit-green expo” originally scheduled to return to its home base of Tarrytown in April, has been rescheduled for July 26. It will take place from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the DoubleTree Hotel, with an assortment of vendors and expert speakers from the healthy lifestyle community.       

The vendors will represent a broad variety of products and services, from essential oils, organic cleaning products and nutritional supplements to chiropractic care, says Paula Caracappa, the Awaken Fair’s founder and director.    

“Of course the best vendors of healing crystals and jewelry will be at the fair too, offering love-focused rose quartz, healing turquoise, serenity-inducing amethyst and all the others, both as loose stones as well as embedded in handmade jewelry,” she says.  

Three rooms in the hotel will be devoted to expert speakers presenting information on how to “awaken to your best self.” All presentations are free. There will also be intuitive readers offering tarot, mediumship, angel readings and pet readings (for entertainment purposes only), and Reiki and other energy healers.

“Healing practices have become more mainstream, and many people sample a healing practice for the first time at the Awaken Fair,” Caracappa says.
