Mark your calendar! As the coronavirus starts tapering off in New York, event planners are cautiously rescheduling their big events. Here’s a small list we’ve found so far:

Green Ossining’s 10th annual Earth Day Festival, Westchester County’s largest community-run Earth Day event, is now slated for September 26 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Held on the banks of the Hudson River at Louis Engel Waterfront Park, this free festival is hosted and organized by Green Ossining with the assistance of the Town and Village of Ossining. For updates and more info, visit GreenOssining.org.

The Awaken Wellness Fair the long-running “body-mind-spirit-green expo” originally planned for April, is currently rescheduled for July 26, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., at the DoubleTree Hotel in Tarrytown. Up until July 25, discount-rate appointments with readers and healers at the event can be made online at AwakenFair.Fullslate.com. For an immediate reading, phone sessions are available; send an email to [email protected].

Pitch in for Parks 2020, usually held on Earth Day, has been bumped to October 17 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Hosted by Westchester Parks Foundation and the Westchester County Parks Department, this one-day program welcomes volunteers to take on special projects in parks throughout the county by painting, raking, preparing and planting flower beds, clearing trails and shorelines, restoring wildlife habitats and removing invasive vines from trees.
