In this time of global crisis, psycho-spiritual therapist Cynthia Chase has set up weekly inspirational Zoom meetings on Saturdays from 1 to 2 p.m. where people can meet online, focus on the positive and identify opportunities for growth. Meetings through May will be free of cost; after that they will be based on voluntary donation. Those interested can contact her to request a Zoom ID to join the meetings.

“We meditate and in creative ways promote our centeredness, grounding and spiritual access,” Chase says. “You are the healer you’ve been looking for. At a time of such change and turbulence, we are presented with an opportunity to increase our intuition, discover the power within and ignite the purpose of our higher selves. The world needs us now, and the good news is that the healer is within us all. What is needed is an experienced guide to help illuminate the path as we discover it.  As a seasoned traveler on the road of life, I assist and guide in developing our inherent capacity and ability to heal. This creative fusion of enlightened practices from East and West fosters trust in ourselves and the universe, and opens the inner door to wisdom. Self-limiting blockages and belief systems are released so that we are free to live the manifestation of our most cherished dreams.”

A licensed clinical social worker with a master’s degree in social work, Chase has been a psycho-spiritual therapist for more than 30 years. She is trained as a psychoanalyst, psychotherapist and Reiki Master/trainer. She has integrated her psychoanalytic background with energy healing in a unique practice called Reiki Fusion.

Her individually designed classes lead to the certification of Reiki Level I, II and Master. “The first-level classes allow self-healing, while the second empowers us to promote healing in others as well,” she says. “The third, or Master level, allows for the highest level of integration to teach others and empower others on their path.” She offers classes in person (when appropriate) and virtually at a time that is mutually convenient.

“Reiki classes will empower you as a healer; boost your natural intuitive and healing abilities; allow healing of yourself, your friends, your loved ones, the animals and the natural world; and promote clarity and the realization of our most cherished dreams,” she says.

The fee for each two-hour class is $150. There are three classes leading to Reiki I certification, three classes leading to Reiki II certification and four classes leading to Master-level certification.

Chase also offers one-day retreats at the Ixchel Center, in Hartsdale (dates TBA). The cost is $95. The next weekend beach retreat in Old Lyme, Connecticut, is scheduled for October, at a cost of $495 for the weekend. The retreat will offer a combination of breath work, movement, dance and Reiki Fusion sessions.
