Cornell Master Gardener Volunteer Training Enrolling Now for Fall 2020

Cornell Cooperative Extension Dutchess County is accepting applications for its Master Gardener Volunteer training, which begins September 9. The application deadline is June 15.
   
Volunteers are given in-depth training on a wide variety of horticulture topics. After completion of the training program, graduates volunteer 100 hours over a two-year period staffing the extension’s horticulture diagnostic lab and working on community projects. Master gardener volunteers share the knowledge they have gained with the community.
   
Candidates must have a basic knowledge of gardening, a flexible schedule, live in Dutchess County resident and be at least 18 years old. Class size is limited to 25.
