In normal times, the Awaken Fair that happens the weekend before Thanksgiving is the biggest of the year—and that could be true even in 2020, when things are far from normal. 

 “As a result of this year‘s unique situation and opportunities, the Awaken Fair is enthusiastically going virtual for the autumn 2020 event,” says founder Paula Caracappa. “It could still be this year’s largest, because fans from all over the country can attend. Our email list is over 10,000 people, our Facebook fans number 7,000, and other social media account for hundreds and hundreds more Awaken Fair fans.” 

Caracappa says she expects that a large number of these far-away fans—who have been asking for years, “When is the Awaken Fair coming to my town?”—will participate in this free, virtual Awaken Fair.

 “Already there’s a speaker who has signed up from Bahrain and another from Chicago, as well as New York-based experts,” she says.

The virtual Awaken Fair will still consist of speakers, vendors, readers and healers. Reader and healer sessions will take place by phone or Zoom after pre-booking. Speakers and vendors will appear for 30 minutes via Zoom Saturday and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., starting on the hour and half hour.

 “The beauty of this arrangement is that guests can be safe and comfortable, tune in and out at will, purchase from vendors via the Internet, and absorb all the amazing information that the Awaken Fair always offers,” Caracappa says.
