Family Hike at Teatown Lake Reservation October 2, 2020

Teatown Lake Reservation, in Ossining, will host a family hike to some of its less-frequently traveled spots from 3:30 to 5 p.m. on October 2. Through scavenger hunts and challenges, participants will discover the various habitats Teatown has to offer and the animals within them.

Teatown is an environmental education organization offering programs to 20,000 adults and children each year. It manages more than 15 miles of hiking trails on its 1,000-acre preserve and holds public and education programs for families and schools, as well as special events.

This hike is limited to eight families and is recommended for children ages 5 and up. All participants should wear sturdy shoes and bring water and a snack to enjoy from the scenic vistas.
