Over the past two years, Florida-based Your CBD Store has grown into the world’s largest brick-and-mortar retailer of hemp-derived products, helping dismiss misconceptions about them through an emphasis on education and community. Now Cathy Parlitsis has opened the first Your CBD Store in Westchester.

“Everything we do is focused on improving the lives of our customers,” she says. “It’s a high-quality learning environment. . . . We’re not just another retail chain. We truly care about educating consumers.”

The products sold at Your CBD Store are USDA-certified organic and non-psychoactive. They don’t require a prescription or medical card.

“All our products are manufactured by SunMed, which uses a special CO2 extraction process to eliminate chemical solvents and produce a high-quality, full-spectrum CBD,” Parlitsis says. “For our zero-THC products, the CBD is then processed again to remove all traces of THC.”

With its focus on quality, Your CBD Store has helped drive legislation toward transparency and testing, she says. Every product it sells offers a third-party lab report corresponding to lot and batch numbers.
