Mike Tamburo of sound-healing group Crown of Eternity will perform at Golden Prana Yoga Studio, in Katonah, from 7 to 9 p.m. July 10. The event is co-hosted by Carrie Kane, owner of Golden Prana, and Jennifer Llewellyn, chief wellness officer of Majestic Hudson, a lifestyle boutique adjoining the studio. Together the two businesses form a “courtyard oasis” offering community yoga, meditation, healing arts and tools to encourage personal and spiritual growth to uplift and transform.

“Sound healing is everything, and Mike truly sets the stage for the energetic cleansing of body, mind and soul,” Llewellyn says. “I’m so excited to co-host this event with Carrie. Together we’re literally raising the vibrations in Westchester.”

Listeners have variously described Tamburo’s music as “an adventure in listening,” “sonic bliss,” a “deep and lasting vibrational rejuvenation for body and soul,” a “profound aesthetic experience,” a “journey through the senses” and “a perceptual rollercoaster.”

During this live vibrational experience, listeners are transported into deep meditation as Tamburo orchestrates his way through more than 40 overtone-rich instruments. The concert includes several sitting meditations during which participants are led through toning, listening and breathing exercises accompanied by hammered dulcimer or zither, followed by a long sound-healing layout and relaxation performed on gongs and bells.
