Persephone’s Pearl—a shop in Peekskill that sells candles, crystals, stones, jewelry, herbs, oils and more, and also offers readings, trainings, healing, cleansings, events, workshops and more—is now providing their services to clients at home or at a space of their choosing. “We’re excited to be offering private reading parties, house séances, house/business cleansings and things of that nature to help the community grow and thrive,” shares shop owner John Omilana.

“Our goal is to help people live their best destiny, and we want that to be accessible to as many people as possible,” adds Omilana, a psychic and spiritual coach who has been doing psychic readings for the last 20 years. “The expansion of our services at the store can now be brought to a person’s home, business or any space they choose. Many of our services are also great if you'd like to add an element of entertainment to any party or gathering.”

Persephone’s Pearl is “A Center for Spiritual Development” (as the motto on the store’s front window says). Omilana’s own spiritual journey has taken him through a varied range of practices that give him a unique perspective on life and the spirit world. He is of Puerto Rican and Cuban descent, speaks both English and Spanish and is very proud of his Afro-Caribbean heritage.

Besides local and global products, Persephone’s Pearl offers readings in English or Spanish six days a week onsite, as well as reiki, energy-cleansing sessions and educational courses.
