What drew you to this profession?
This profession has multiple components. I was drawn to it after my own experience with breast cancer. Medical marijuana was not available to me, and I understood very quickly what this medicine can do.
How does your work differ from that of others in your profession?
I spend a lot of time educating patients. I do public speaking, podcasts, radio shows and media interviews. I pride myself on knowing my patients and try to give them a positive, realistic evaluation.
What should someone expect from working with you?
I do a thorough evaluation and consult with every patient. I try to prepare patients for their first shopping trip, advising them on products and dosing.
What changes do you have planned for 2023?
I plan to do more conference speaking and educational events. With recreational legalization, people need to understand how this all works. Also, I am now a licensed physician in Connecticut.
